Music Monday: Multitrack Roundup.

Here are some tracks that I've stumbled upon very recently, and have decided that they are very much worth sharing. "Closer" by Tegan and Sara This song has been on constant repeat on my playlist since I discovered it last week. I've been a Tegan and Sara fan for some time now, and this latest song is a perfect blending of their harmonic twin powers and good pop sensibilities. Listen to "Closer" here: "Hurt" (8 Bit)  When Johnny Cash released his cover of Nine Inch Nails' classic "Hurt" he not only clinched another hit before his death, but he brought a pretty remarkably accessible gravitas to the song. This 8 bit rendering of his cover might not be quite as poignant, but the greatness is not diminished. "Every Little Gambino She Does Is Magic" by 8CORPORATION, featuring Childish Gambino and Bon Iver The title of the following Mashup is somewhat misleading. Childish Gambino is the hip hop nom de plume of Donald Glover and when you read "Every Little Gambino She Does Is Childish" you might think of it as a reference to an old Police song (replacing Gambino with "thing" and Childish with "magic.") That's not the case here, however. The DJ who created this mashup expertly uses some backing tracks from indie superstars Bon Iver, using the instrumentals from "Towers" to provide the majority of the base for Gambino to rap over, while mixing in a little whistling sample from Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros' inescapable 2010 hit "Home."

Space Shuttle Endeavor

All over California today, everyone is losing their minds over the space shuttle Endeavor's historic final flight (those of us here in SoCal especially). I was a little down about not being able to go anywhere to see it today but, SURPRISE, the Endeavor literally flew just a few hundred feet over my house! "Amazing," doesn't even cover it! I was lucky enough to see it twice, but the first time! Over an hour later and I'm still shaking! I can't even think what else I should write here, hell I can't even think straight. Wasn't even expecting to get emotional as it passed over my head, either.

Butch Dixon’s Birthday Bukkake

Only word that comes to mind is "GUH!" What better way to celebrate a birthday than with an endless pile of foreskin? 11 guys, all uncut, one lucky Pablo Nunez!
I know in these times of austerity, my guys want more dick for their buck. So here’s eleven of my finest, hairy, burly, hung studs, with one fucking lucky Pablo Nunez in the middle, chomping on several feet of cock, foreskin and cum as he’s fed inch, after inch, after inch, after gush, after squirt of hot cock and cum. My bukkake birthday bonanza.

Music Monday: Joshua Radin

I don't know if it's the string section that opens this song, or if it's simply that I've been watching a lot of Doctor Who lately, but I feel like Joshua Radin wrote this song about waiting on a chance to go traveling with the Doctor. A The-Boy-Who-Waited kind of thing. He even throws the word 'eleven' into the lyrics. I mean, c'mon! Surely I'm not grasping at straws here. To be honest, it doesn't matter, because this is a great song in and of itself. Whether it's a nod to the longing one might feel to travel in the TARDIS is moot, because it's a very soothing pop song that flies through the heavens, even if it never soars very high.
